The Academic Foundation for Peace-Conflict Studies (AFPCS), is founded in 2015 as an independent think-tank and student based to develop an alternative framework for Peace, Conflict, Humanitarian, Human Rights, Climate Change and Security in Academic Sphere through independent research and analysis as a joint project. It continues to be one of the leading independent institutes in North America with no affiliation to a particular institution and/or ideology. The core research of AFPCS focuses on internal security, Peace issues, and regional conflicts. Since its founding, AFPCS has been the cradle of the next generation of strategic thinkers. This focus on youth is reflected both in its faculty and its strong internship program focused on building up the next generation of thought leaders especially in Europe and North America with Pluralistic Identities. The foundation is a volunteer–based organization since pandemic and we hope to get finance in 2023.
